YOUR GUIDE · POKHARA
Narayan Bahadur Sunar
A guide from the city below the hills.
I plan treks around the days you have, the pace you like, and the season you are travelling.

MY STORY
Born where the trails begin.
I grew up in Pokhara, the town where most Annapurna treks start, and I still live here today. I studied at Prithvi Narayan Campus in Pokhara. The walks I love most start in the hills around the city.
I began by leading groups for a trekking company. Today I work as an independent, self-employed trek leader, so you deal with me directly: the person who answers your first message is the person who walks beside you.
How I work
Your days first
Tell me the dates you have. I suggest the route that fits, rather than squeezing you into a fixed departure.
Safety over summits
I watch the weather and how you acclimatise, and I change the plan when the mountain says so.
Small and private
Every trek is private: just your own group, at your own pace.
